Krypton Nights - Bryan D. Dietrich

My favorite sections of this book were Clark's crown of sonnets and Lois's diaries (I wish I could give the book three and a half stars). Jor-El and Lex's sections were a tad esoteric and chilly for me, filled with Judeo-Christian theology that for me is distancing. However, I am grateful for an author and book like this that engage with popular culture in such a sustained manner and so intelligently, humorously, and complexly. I know I'll read more from Dietrich.
